She has been pretty neglected since she got here so I thought it was about time to start building her character a little. She is of the elven race and her size as a doll is her "real life" size, about the size of a brownie. Adult of here kind are about the height of Tayler (43cm or so). There might be one or two of them showing up in my home eventually too...who knows.
She in particular embodies the element of flight. If I were writing a story she would probably have a pair of wing that she could make appear at will. Keeping this in mind I decided to give her my own personal makeup to suit here character.
First I stripped her down to the blank sculpt, which I have to say for a cheaper company is very delicate and detailed compared to some of the other sculpt that look like they were done less professionally.
Such a cutie! And I have to say that after only one coat of spray the pastel took very nicely to the resin.
Here is her base coat.
After that I got ambitious but a little lazy with the picture taking. So the next picture is when she was almost done.
I decided to give her a feather on her left cheek and three little dots below each eye because it just looked cute to me. They aren't tattoos however, because she is just a child, more like a birthmark that she has always had. The tips of her ears are sort of brown like feathers too. You can see her eyes and head cap in the background.
I decided to try out the short hair on her too. This is her bunny friend...I don't know his name yet.
I'll have to take some better pictures in daylight, but I really like her new look. She still needs a wardrobe of her own as well.
